Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our custom 3D-printed terrain tiles. Can't find an answer? Get in touch.

What are the tiles made from?+

Each tile is 3D-printed in high-quality PLA using full-colour multi-material printing, then mounted on a solid oak base for a natural, premium finish.

How detailed are the prints?+

We print at a fine layer height so ridgelines, valleys and rivers all come through crisply. See the close-up gallery below for the level of detail you can expect.

What sizes are available?+

Standard tiles come in a range of sizes shown on each product page. Custom sizes can be arranged — just get in touch before ordering.

Can I add custom text or engraving?+

Yes — every product page has an optional custom text field (+£5). Use the notes box to tell us exactly where to place it.

How long does a custom order take?+

Custom tiles are made to order and typically ship within 5-10 working days. Stock items from the Shop section ship within 2-3 working days.

Do you ship internationally?+

Please contact us for international shipping.

How should I care for my tile?+

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources (PLA softens above ~60°C). Dust with a soft dry cloth; avoid harsh cleaners on the oak base.

Can I return a custom tile?+

Custom-made items are non-refundable unless faulty. Stock items can be returned within 14 days in original condition.

What if there's a spelling mistake on my custom text?+

Any text you enter is printed exactly as provided, so please double-check spelling and details before placing your order. We can't accept responsibility for mistakes in the text you submit.

Can I change my order after placing it?+

If your model hasn't gone into production yet it may still be possible to make changes - please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best. Once printing has started, changes are no longer possible.
